This one-of-a-kind chapeau is nearly completely hand sewn. It is hand blocked with 4 layers of imported sinamay and antique rose patterned chiffon. Matching, hand sewn sinamay and chiffon roses, silk organza leaves & flowers, silk maiden hair fern, velvet grape clusters, leaves and floral petals adorn the crown. Vintage, bordeaux stained Parisian silk veiling drapes the dramatic 7” brim.

The Kentucky Derby Museum has chosen a hat from our 2003 Summer Collection for the Museum’s “Derby Hat Exhibit.”
